Antique Car Age Requirement
Currently the age requirement for a vehicle to qualify for a classic vehicle AP is that it has to be 25 years or older but this will now be increased to 35 years and older from the start of next.

Only vehicles that are 25 years old or older can undergo the MO historic car registration procedure under the current Missouri motor vehicle laws. Whether or not your car is considered an antique depends on who youre asking and what state you live in. Antique vehicle registration is open to anything older than 25 years but the restrictions are well defined. A car must be at least 20 years old but not more than 40 years old to be considered a classic car.
